Over the last 2 decades our county has experienced rapid population growth. My District and home, District 2, consists of Berkley Lake, Lilburn, Norcross, Peachtree Corners and Tucker (Gwinnett), which has seen the population grow over 100% with registered voters alone.

Such growth brings demands for better infrastructure. Simple example, SIDEWALKS. Our citizens, including myself, have to either walk in the streets or in the bushes and both options are dangerous. Our Commissioners, including my opponent, Lynette Howard, have been busy granting permits for sub divisions and other buildings but not seeing to it that these builders include sidewalks in their plans.

The lack of ability to safely walk to a near-by store means that one more car has to be on the road. Sidewalk deficiencies are just one of the many issues Gwinnett faces.
